Dinette floor open.  Installed a new dinette floor, with a piano hinge down the middle to allow increased ventilation to the bilge, at the same time that I had to replace the stringers, bulkheads, and floorboards.  The floorboards are now 3/4" teak & holly.  All wood sealed with 3 coats of West System epoxy Clear-Coat, and numerous coats of Fleecto Varathane.
Main bulkhead in salon.  The brass plaques represent victories from 1972-2000.  The cabin lamp to the upper left of the kerosene lamp is a coach lamp from a 1913 Pierce Arrow automobile.  It originally ran on acetylene, being piped to a box of calcium carbide chips on the running board, add H2O and you have acetylene.  I rewired it for 12 volts.  Cushions are in the "racing" position,
allowing more room to pack spinnakers.  My wife Pat picked out the materials for the cushions, and I taught myself how to reupholster.  Also had to replace port chainplate and about 2 lateral feet of main bulkhead, veneer & varnish to match old bulkhead.
